1. Agreement to Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Renaissance Clinique, LLC, a Delaware limited liability company ("Company," "we," "us," or "our"), governing your access to and use of FreeFileTools.io and related services (the "Service").

By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

FreeFileTools provides online file conversion, compression, editing, and management tools. The Service includes both free features and paid subscription plans with enhanced capabilities.

3. User Accounts

To access certain features, you must create an account. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information
  • Maintain the security of your account credentials
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
  • Accept responsibility for all activities under your account

4. Subscriptions and Payments

4.1 Billing

Paid subscriptions are billed in advance on a monthly basis. You authorize us to charge your payment method for all fees incurred.

4.2 Plan Changes

Upgrades: When upgrading to a higher-tier plan, you will be charged the prorated difference immediately. The new plan takes effect immediately.

Downgrades: When downgrading to a lower-tier plan, the change takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You retain access to your current plan's features until then.

4.3 Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time. Upon cancellation, you retain access to paid features until the end of your current billing period, after which your account reverts to the free plan.

4.4 Price Changes

We may change subscription prices with 30 days' notice. Price changes do not affect current billing periods.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations
  • Upload malicious files, viruses, or harmful code
  • Process illegal, obscene, or infringing content
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service
  • Resell or redistribute the Service without authorization
  • Use automated systems to abuse the Service
  • Circumvent usage limits or restrictions

6. Intellectual Property

6.1 Our Property

The Service, including its design, features, and content, is owned by us and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute our property without permission.

6.2 Your Content

You retain ownership of files you upload. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to process your files solely to provide the Service. We do not claim ownership of your content.

7. Privacy

Your use of the Service is subject to our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your information.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service, your content, or your violation of these Terms.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time for violation of these Terms or for any other reason at our discretion. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Delaware.

13. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be notified via email or through the Service. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
